As members of the human race, we are constantly processing information and storing the data received. We can call this information anything that we want to, but, a good working definition is to refer to this collected wisdom as "observations". The observation may be very simple, as in seeing that a particular flower is yellow. Or, with greater complexity, is the fact that we form a running dialog of observations that describe our particular view of the world. In the majority of cases we tend to update our view with new information, and revise our position.
The purpose of this site is to provide a platform for different points of view on an unlimited list of topics. Topics will be added and reader comments will be open to all visitors to the site. The idea is not to agree or disagree, but to add dimension to the conversation by sharing our collected wisdom. As in all reasonable conversations, good netiquette will be expected. The thought that "taking the high road is better, as there will be less traffic" seems relevant. The topics will be constructed as generally as possible while still presenting my own observations as a starting point. So, please go to the OBSERVATIONS page and become a participant. The TRENDCASTING blog is for the general act of forecasting future events. And the ODDS 'N ENDS is a blog for everything else.
